MORNING RITUAL
Morning Ritual is a meditation on timekeeping and tenderness. Prints were made every morning for 5 days. As I made coffee for myself and my fiancée, I dipped mordanted paper into the cups. Refills were also dipped. Tone variation and height of the stain implies mood and needs each day of the week. This becomes a calendar or journal of this specific time. The clothespins and laundry line suggest domesticity and process. This act requires consistency and dedication
The goal is to do this every day for a year, and string the line zigzagged through a large space.
